La Unión Mundial de Maxibasketball -UMB - es una organización sin ánimo de lucro, Fundada en la ciudad de Managua - Nicaragua el día 26 de junio de 2015, por un grupo de amigos de los países de Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panamá, Argentina, Ecuador, México y Uruguay.

La UMB como organización mundial, respeta la libertad de asociación, la libertad de participación de los atletas en cualquier torneo o en cualquier otra organización. No discrimina a los equipos por que participen en otros eventos deportivos que a bien tengan. Somos una Organización joven, que cada día trabaja arduamente, innovando y mejorando con el único propósito de servir al maxibasketball del mundo Ad Honorem para cumplir sueños y vivir la gran fiesta del basketball en armonía, integración y respeto.

The World Maxibasketball Union -UMB - is a non-profit organization, founded in the city of Managua - Nicaragua on June 26, 2015, by a group of friends from the countries of Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico and Uruguay.

 The UMB as a worldwide organization respects the freedom of association, the freedom of participation of athletes in any tournament or in any other organization. It does not discriminate against teams because they participate in other sporting events that they may have. We are a young Organization, which works hard every day, innovating and improving with the sole purpose of serving the maxibasketball of the Ad Honorem world to fulfill dreams and live the great basketball festival in harmony, integration and respect.
